The international collaborations in higher education in Iran and how to improve them
Abstract:
Universities in developing and advanced countries are increasingly working to internationalize higher education. Therefore, it seems unusual to pay little attention to the identification of new approaches for the internationalization of higher education in Iran. Improving the quality of higher education in Iran requires expanding the level of international scientific cooperation.
In this article, first, the current state of scientific cooperation in Iran, especially expatriating students abroad, study opportunities and inter-university cooperation, and then, using content analysis, documents and reports related to policies and forms of cooperation between International in some developing countries has been analyzed along with interviews, and the result is the identification of eight key policies and methods. In addition, due to cultural, political and social differences, in-depth interviews were conducted with international communication experts about policies and methods in developing countries and their application in Iran. In the end, findings and suggestions for improving international cooperation of higher education in Iran are presented.
